Goats are/were considered wealth in villages. Sacrificing your wealth is still a sacrifice isn't it?

Trying to pass a quick one here. I don't support nonsensical sacrifices (1000 bhaisi or something they do), but eating khasi in dashain is a custom I am not willing to let go.

The sacrifice you are talking about almost never goes to waste. They pour some blood over the vehicle etc then eat the meat.
Having said that, if sacrifice is done merely for the sake of sacrificing, I don't support it. It doesn't mean I'd start protesting against it though.

I get it, it is consumed. People consume meat everywhere, but there is a way that is more humane and civilized ways to do it. A goat is brought in the front yard and the whole family is standing and watching, including kids. The goat is hacked (often with multiple blows) with blood flowing everywhere, the animal is alive for few minutes with no heads and shaking its legs. This whole thing is witnessed by kids who should never be seeing such grusome things. So you have no problem with it?
