I would suggest you to contact Nepali association in Charlotte (Greater Charlotte Nepalese Association, NC). The housing prices varies from different parts in North carolina from mountains to Uptown Charlotte. Most of the Nepalese community can be found in South Charlotte near Patel Brothers and majority families live in Raleigh Area as well.

BTW, I am planning to move to Boston, but had not much luck with job hunt.
Greater Boston Area is the best place to live, and work especially for Nepalese diaspora.
