Maile college huda 2009, 10 ra 11 ma ocean city m kaam gareko thiye. Aba 485 form ma , kaile illegally kaam gareko cha ma yes bhanda k farak parcha? Ra no bhanda k huncha??

485 form ma last 5 yrs ko history magey ko cha, last 5 years ma chai jaile pani legally nai kaam gareko Chu. Has anyone gone through this recently?

Sinope & alwaysintrouble- A few years back, things were different. There used to be different i 485 form that has question only for 5 years history. However, in current version of I 485 question reads as ' have you EVER worked????. I am not sure how many of sajha users have gone thru adjs of status using current form.

@iphone6- actually that was mu question- Has anyone filed adj of status using the current form?

Mahile ni "NO" garya ho back in 2015. Always worked on SSN and filed tax since early 2000's.

Nepal1827- I am also interested in knowing this. So we need to find someone who have filled the application after Aug 25, 2017. Starting this date, older version of I 485 was not acceptable.

i did.. i worked using my SSN in 2009.. and i answered it No...

I was in the same situation. I also answered no to the question. My Interview is scheduled in July. Lets see.

July 17 :

I filled in June 2017 and got my GC in Jan of this year. This never came during my interview so I suggest to check NO.

All the answers here are based on old form. For example,Jonny has filled his application in June 2017 meaning using older version of 485. Lets say if Jonny had worked in 2010, using old form he can easily say ‘NO’ as the question only asked for the last 5 years. However, after August 2017 there is an additional question ‘have you ever..’? . so all the applicants who commented here did not go thru this question as all were before August 2017. Still there is no right answer for the question raised by Nepal 1827.

@Archer when did you file your application? Did you file using the new form?

For the third effing time... Yes.. i filed using the new form..

I had interview on July 17th and It went pretty well. I-485 Approved next day . Supplement J still says Interview completed and case must be reviewed. No question came up regarding previous employment.
