R K Mailani, a prominent Nepali politicial who was always on the forefront on the struggle to bring democracy in Nepal has said the the Maoists are expanding their terrorist activities on the basis of silent support provided to them now by the parties including Nepali Congress and UML.

Why just R.K Mainali? Bring the testimonials of other "prominent" politicians like Kamal Thapa, Tulsi Giri, and a bunch of Samshers to prove your point! They are all great supporters of your "democracy" after all!

Bhoonte, you have posted a nice and relevant topic here which all of should read carefully. No one can deny that RK Mainali was a die-hard advocate of democracy in Nepal ever since he came into prominence. He also has a lot of experience, both as a beaurocrat as well as working with people at grassroot level.

If he says something, there is a very high possibility that he is telling the truth.
