Please post the fabulous songs/sounds from the decade that are NOT cliche-numbers yet (may have been) under-rated or forgotten.

Here is my first one.

The artist did not score nearly half a dozen wives for nothing. Here is Rod Stewart singing '...Young Hearts will be free tonite..'. This one should suit since it's a long weekend.

I appreciate you guys sharing the soundtracks that marked your life during the 80s.

Now playing..

Father Figure - George Michael

Again I wish he was not gay. I would prefer no one to be gay for that matter but freedom of choice or genetic defect so they say. Right?

George Michael - Kissing a Fool - Faith album(1988)

Doesn't George sound like one of those crooners like Michael Buble in this one? But George is definitely a better singer since he has withstood the test of time for a whopping twentyfive-plus years . 'Just love this flashback from the 80s since it has such a jazzy touch to it. Enjoy now..

Now that I mentioned Agnetha, I could not resist including one of ABBA songs as well. From their last studio album before their break up, this has been an anthem for the broken-hearted lovers ...

typical sound from 80's. reminds me of  my 90s as most of these songs from 80's, i listened to for the first time during my 90s only but boy you can easily make out from the drum beats alone that it's from the frolicking 80s and i love it ...damn! nostalgia
