Just download Mozilla Firefox 3.0 from the link below......Or if you have to have IE, run Microsoft Update...and see if that helps...There can be several things ..without seeing the actual error message, its hard to pinpoint...Good Luck

ahh... it could be a problem with your OS ... i had the same problem ...HoustonTX installing firefox will not resolve the problem cause that problem will still occur in Firefox.... so Life try reinstalling OS ... since its a new computer.... you can format and reinstall and hopefully that will solve the problem ..")

puzzeled life, as Houston TX has said earlier, there could be many reasons for that specific problem. I also recommend Firefox 3, but if you are a die hard fan of IE and want it to be fixed do the following... * Scan for virus, spyware etc.with antivirus/antispyware software. Scan with many, as many as you can get.If problem still exists * Remove IE completely and re-install.If problem still there* Run Windows repair, that will re-install windows system files. I am assuming Vista also got that facility. I am still with XP so I don't know. If still have problem* Re-install OS, in your case Vista.
Hope this helps.

I used to get similar error..while closing.. memory at ( some HEX no) could not be refrenced... WTF. You are stuck with a bad OS and a Bad browser. Start Working with Firefox. Check for all viruses, spywares, adwares. Do you rember installing anyting ? ( might cause conflict) Make sure you have all the essential Processess running. BTW, try to uninstall just IE and Reinstall... ( if thats a possibility in vista) Also, does Vista has System Restore ? Try that before you thing abt reinstalling the OS. P.S Firefox is the most awesomest-test Browser :D
