I was getting heck lot of credit card offers from different companies but I gave a hang to all of them.Couple of weeks ago I accepted one and later found out there were so many fees associated with it.So,I donn wann it no more. The thing is I already got my card but havent activated it.Infact,I donn wanna use that card.Does it affects my credit history if i just didnt use that card or in simple terms just deny to use it now??So,FOLKS what could be the way out??
Any kind of helpful suggestion deserves a vote of THANKS!!

Dont activate, dont use, it will be fine... Bank may call you later (1-2 months) to ask why you havent activated the CC, tell them you don't want to use it. Everything will be fine.

Call the 800 number and ask to opt-out getting the credit card offer in the future.

If u activate the credit card and didn't use for a long interval of time then that may probably affect your credit history as well bank will decrease your credit limit too. as far unless u didn't activate your new card it won't affect your credit history. simply cancel it if u don't like and try other one. I recommend you chase reward card or citi student card.

I am satisfied with the citi student card but I do not have idea about the discover card. In fact what are the hidden fees they are charging you?
