Once upon a time, there used to live a Chinese professor, He had scholarship from his Chinese Academy of Science and also from the host country. We got an opportunity to be neighbors. His room number was 614 while mine was 611. We had a common balcony. The name of the room seems like a flat but in fact it is not.Indeed, the room is situated in the first floor.

It is common that when people get old, they used to drink. Perhaps, China has learned from their Nepalese counterpart as we are neighbor back home too. It is obvious that he has develop tolerance of wine in comparison to me. Since I have to drink 18 years more to develop so called tolerance. But, I am like a bathroom singer, never drink too much.I am afraid, whether I could reach that alcohol consuming level or not !

I used to see couple of pigeons, the white ones just in the garden everyday. I used to give some breads if I have. These pigeons were lovely and sometime used to come so close to me. If I attempt I can catch it easily but I don't want to scared them.

But unfortunate event happened, there used to come only one pigeon instead of couples. I was thinking all the time about this issue. But could not figure what exactly had been happened. Month passed, year passed. After nine months my neighbour also went back to China to teach in University. But, my habit never changed to go to balcony to give some food at least to one pigeon.

Every day cleaning lady used to come quite late after I left for university, but that day she had come quite earlier. She saw me in the balcony, and came to talk to me. That time I was giving the food to one pigeon. We engage in conversation, I told here there is two pigeons but one is not there. I used to give food for two but now just one is there.

The lady also became sad, she told me that there is a long story behind the disappearance of pigeons. She was not reluctant to tell, but I was an old dweller in that balcony, so started to tell her experience. According to her, she found the pigeon feather in packed form just below the bed of Chinese professor. I was shocked, I  did not believe at first why he does this, still it remained a bad memory.
May be cleaning lady get afraid of loosing the job so she did not disclose the secret while professor was staying there. But there was no evidence of two pigeons. It clearly means that the lady was right !

Conclusion : "Chinese are hard to predict even an intelluctual"

Let me tell you another story. A researcher was doing a study on frogs behaviour in his lab. He put a frog down on the exmination table and swiftly cut one limb off with a scalpel. He then shouted “jump” , and the startled the frog hopped. He then cut off another limb and again shouted “jump”. Somehow the frog managed to jump a short distance. The researcher then cut of the third leg and shouted “jump”, the frog somehow managed to hop clumsily. Then lastly he cut the last remaining leg and shouted “jump”, nothing happened. He shouted couple of times but no reaction from the frog. The researcher then proceeded to note down the result in his notebook, “When all four legs are cut off, the frog looses its ability to hear”.

I see a similarity between Sajhabahadur and the researcher.

Kaji Sahab: Thank you for your suggestion. I will think about it how to get a life.
enGima  too: The example u have presented is outstanding. I wish I could be see the things like from the eye of that researcher.
Poonhill: I don't know the reason why but the professor was from geography department. It is unlikely that he has done something research taking bird as a experimental model. But it is likely that he might have taste the fried meat of pigeon !
mrhunter: Achainyo ko pir khukuri le ke tha !
Lakhe: You seem to be natural lover and know ecosystem better.

Thanks to all viewer
