Having followed cricket closely for the last 2 decades or so, one thing I can tell is Australia is always a favorite. This time around, SA have a very good chance. NZ have also been playing some fantastic cricket in the last few years. India and Pakistan are unpredictable whereas SL always bring out their best in big stages. No chance whatsoever for WI, England, Zimbabwe, and Bangladesh. Associates are just numbers.
Jayasuriya(recently Sangakkara) has made me SL fan for life.

To foretell a winner of World Cup Cricket 2015,at this moment of hour,is not an easy task as most teams look competitive and surely,we will get a chance to witness some cutthroat contests between playing teams to prove it.Observing the teams and their pre-world-cup-practice-matches,Australia and South Africa are the most deserving team to win it,while,interestingly and surprisingly or even uncommonly,India and Pakistan are the underdogs for WC 2015.A D villiars smashed 31 ball century against the Windies,playing shots all around which were new to the planet and Steven Smith have suddenly metamorphosed from a quite aussie lad to a run machine,who sees run everywhere....like even in air!.The Australian team looks balanced and their fielding is awe-inspiring ,as always,while South African players looks like they are ready to play any game,not only cricket but tennis,rugby,basketball..you name it and they are eager to engage in almost anything!.

India,our neighbours,may have new players in their team and even a new PM in their white house,but the players lacks proper understanding between themselves while playing,which was the main reason of their humbling wrecking in Australian tour and almost all players looks like a walking wicket.Dhoni,sad to share it,will be retiring with a loss in a world cup,if no miracle materialize.Pakistan,although silent and disturbed in recent times,got little to worry in Australian conditions where bouncers and paces are omnipresent,and its all upto bowlers and Afridi to spearhead them to finals.I like new Newzeland team too,with batsman like Mcculum who can win the whole game with himself alone in the crease.England,with a new captain looks a completely fresh team,with Ian bell ringing bells in most matches and with the bowlers like Anderson and Board,they are a challenging team to all and watching Finn bowling same-line,same-line,on-the-spot-that-will-bounce first-and-swing-taking-a-nick while playing against India just yesterday might compel some weak-hearted batsman to declare sick-call.

All in all,my support is always with Nepal and I still believe Nepal can win world cup some day with at least 5 Paras in the team!!.( if they ever play it..while I will get a good cause to write a nile-long things about them..hehe)...and then while Nepal is still vying and sweating for a place,I think Australia is not going to dishearten their supporters and they are playing in their home,which means they are like....invincible.

South Africa is the most deserving for the moment. They have very good fast bowlers who can blow at 140+ kph regularly. They have very good batsmen and excellent fielders. Their players are very fit. I am not a big fan of teams that have sluiggish players, players with pot-bellies or even some weight to shed like West-Indies and Sri Lanka. Today, professionals need to be at the top of their game and need to look their best as well. Indian players have come a long way in this regard. From being one of the worst fielding sides, in less than a decade they have become one of the best. Australia is also very good, but they need to get rid of some of their old batsmen.

South Africa has always been disappointing in WC. Australia is very strong but still I have a feeling, my be this time New Zealand may win it.
