Hands Down, Kobe is my Man....He should be the MVP.......People are still have grudges against him because of the trade os Shaq, and Phil leaving the Lakers after 2004. That is totally unfair for Kobe. He also gets a fair share of criticism for what happened in Colorado. Everything aside, he is the BEST player in the NBA........With 35.4 PPG and 4.5 APG, an 1.84 Steals per game...he is my man !! Lebron will get it multiple times in the future....but ,with that pathetic roster...and Lamar Odom on and every night...he carried the load for the entire year...........So, ladies and Gentleman, THE 2005-2006 REGULAR SEASON MVP GOES TO "KOBE BRYANT", # 8 GUARD...LA LAKERS !!!!

Smush Parker needs to play better defence on Nash...no doubt about it....follow what Spurs did against Suns last year...make Nash a shooter, rather than a passer.....he creates havoc if he can get in the lane, and dish out.....need to stop him right around foul line or farther.......Having said that, one-on-one defense is really vital....If Lakers can atleast make Nash a shooter.....they will score 95-105 points, and Lakers should have no problem 105 or more to beat them......I seriously think Lakers can beat Suns, and Clippers for that matter....Clippers got ucky...they avoided Dallas.....otherwise, Lakers would have matched better against either Memphis or Denver.....

Kobe can score big number but he is not a team player. If you look at his history he won 3 championship because of Big daddy. If he can win at least 1 more cham with out Shaq than people start saying he can do it. But....

Steve Nash deserve this year's MVP. Look at his number 10.2 assists, 13.5 points, 92.1 FT%. Without leading scorer A. Stoudemire Nash carry his team to #2 on western conference . Dallas's star Dirk Nowitzki, Cavaliers' L. James also deserve MVP award.

memphis is lot better defensively.............. though they play slow paced offensivly .they do have inside outside game...............P gasol is a monster.................anyway lakers didn't had chance to match-up with memphis as they # 3 team in the southwest lower than # 4 seed.......... beacuse of spurs and mavs.............. denver I agree........worst 3-point shooting team.............. lakers sure have a legiment chance to win against denver if we have got chance to match up with them

nash is a good player..........but we are giving out an individual award.....best player in the league........................ which is kobe right now hands down..........

Kobe had 25+ PPG, and 5+ RPG, and 5+ APG with SHAQ....he would have been a MVP candidate with those numbers in any other team...Who says he is not a team player......Of course he shoots at will...but look at Smush Parker...11.5 PPG, Lamar Odom with close to Career numbers...u kidding me...he is not a team player?? If Denver can beat Clippers....and if Lakers beat Suns....I can tell you right now...Lakers will be in the Western Conference Finals...playing against Dallas Mavericks...I think Spurs will lose to Mavericks this year !!

But, they are very biased....After watching USC vs. Texas in the Rose Bowl, I lost my faith on ESPN....

Having said that, Lamar is playing great just about know, oh...and have u seen Kwame Brown play lately?? He is averaging 10 pts and 10 rebounds for last 10-15 games...that will carry over...And..just heard Chris Mihm might come back.....with full force...I doubt it will be 4-0 for Suns....it will be decided in 6 games, if not 7 Purba !!
