Okay, the army chief is not suspended for now. It is to be decided in days to come. Interesting times back home. An opera is crying for an ending. Let's see what would unfold. You never know what you are going to hear next. Strange times... Om Shanti! IndisGuise:)

I did not see the report on BBC regarding Army chief. I *think* the ministers or current ad hoc committee can not suspend COAS. It requires other procedures. I'm just enjoying the drama. Who knows what's going to happen when we wake up next. IndisGuise:) P.S: Yes Guzzu, paye :) And you know what I had to say about that eh'? ;) And also, what about mero arko farmaiss? :)

and who is going to replace them? lemme see ---anyone with a last name Koirala may want to go back, since lots of openings in some pretty good positions. Have you noticed that we always remove people without ever picking a successor in advance?

Don't do the blunder of suspending the security cheifs, arrest the leaders responsible, armed forces morale is already down and at this time noone of us want the maoist forces to run over the whole country.

The commander in Chief of the Andolan-II and PM GP Koirala is doing great job overall, but I don't understand that he freed the entire murderer, criminals "Maoist terrorist" and talking revenge to his opponent? I hope he will succeed. Looks like Maoist are holding a gun over his head.

Don't be surprised if Prachanda gets appointed the chief of RNA, whereby he then merges his peoples' army with it. Seems like Maoists are calling all the shots. These political leaders are just pawns. Before Gyane pulled their strings and now Maoists.

Things are quite interesting back home. Maoists are being released and former ministers are being arrested. Who killed how many people? who cares? Just corner the weakest link, and enjoy the show. What the heck are the parties going to do in the long run. Why don't they enlighten us on this? Let's assume the CA removes the king and Nepal is a republic. Then what? I am interseted on this question. All I hear these days is SPA movement...SPA movement I got that. Tell me more ...what are the economic plans for tomorrow and how are they going to execute them? Come on.

And one of the most important of all, what plans do they have to rehabilitate those who suffered from the Maoists' war? Maoists and the government may be able to negotiate for peace but the last 10 years have scarred our society in such a way that it will take generations to heal.

This is a great news for the people. Let's wait and see. So long as people are vigilant, nobody need to worry, Deep. THings will be fine. Of course, some problems will come and go. Where aren't some problems? Even in your western country, there they are. Right now the biggest problems for Nepal are the king and his cronies. Now the cronies get their kick and with the new constitution, the king gets his kick. People will be finally free. But no Maoists will be able to take over because all we want is freedom and social democracy. People don't want any kind of totalitarianism, king's or prachand's. We will rise to the occasion. You guys just watch from Amrica or Belayat.

Well, I'm not happy with the slow development and crookedness of parties again. However, this sacking of security personnels shows the strength of government, and it starts the show sending the message that anyone in future will be accountable for their acts. As I told earlier, I'm not happy with koirala or makune regime; they're also trying to start the same old game. However, the removal of king will itself help the economy. Does someone know how much money are we spending for the sake of king? Thousands of security personnel, king's palace secretariat employees, allowances. Every time, he comes out of his palace, it's the loss to the country. Let you travel to the city while they're on sabari. Whole of the street will be shut down. Each time, he visits villages, all the development budget will be allocated for his welcome; each time he visited abroad, loss to RNAC, all tickets cancelled; this is not limited only to him. His amassed property, and his relatives never need to pay any tax to the government. They can do whatever they want. Not only that, despite being the richest in the poorest country, their whole circle of relatives get the priviledge of getting government welfare funds to go to abroad for the treatment. The bank is their property too. They take the loans and it never requires any payment. You're wrong if you're thinking of interest. I'm talking the whole principal. The poor bank after many years published the notice, and guess what happened? Some actions were probably taken against those poor officials. Now, someone teach me what this whole economy is out? Government may not have exact road-map for economic development right now; but I'm very much convinced that the removal of these parasites will not worsen the economy. After killing the parasite in the body, i may not have plan for doing daily exercises or any plans for my developing my health. But killing parasites itself is the very first step without which all othe plans are in vain.

These arrests are considered great? No it is not.And I don't think so, bBecause, these people were doing what anyone else would have done under those circumstances. But the most sad thing for Nepali people is that Maoisits have been released. WHY? DID THEY NOT KILL PEOPLE? Nepal's crisis has started. Thanks to King haters and India lovers. What a sad day for our Nepal.

These people deserve suspension and further to the arrest. These are the people who possibly gave the king wrong reporting. IGP Shyam Bhakta Thapa must have been long suspended for breast feeding a dacoit inspector like Suresh Dungana. In the meantime, there are new appointments. Check out. - http://www.parewa.com/
