Me and my girlfriend live in an apartment. My girlfriend has a really pretty friend named Resha (fake name) and she regularly does sleepover in our apartment. Last night she stayed in our apartment and something crazy happened. It was around 2 am, while i was sleeping on the couch, Resha came to me started kissing me while i was sleeping. I didnt want to but at that time my mind was not working properly and we end up having sex in the living room. The next morning, it was very akward to see her and pretend like nothing happened. I talked to her about it while my gf was in the bathroom, but she said it's nothing serious and i should not worry about it. She even said she would not say anthing to anyone about it. But i feel very ashamed and feel like saying sorry to my gf, but i don't wanna lose her.. and i feel really ashamed. Should i tell my gf about it?

you should feel ashamed, and sounds to me, it was like an accident for you, she might've forced you to have sex with her and you just felt like it (i can understand), its your fault but its more of her fault, so what you could do is, admit it, just describe the situation, how it happened.. she'll be broken for a while but forgive you (or even not) but she'd never forgive the friend cuz shes a total b*tch for doing that, and if you tell the truth, atleast you'll save your girlfriend from this type of friend!

lets make something clear, no one was FORCED to have sex here. You might say you were too sleepy to 'think' but hey..thats what you tell yourself to make you feel less guilty. Just the way you started your post, how this girl is pretty has has spent nights at your place, its pretty clear the desire was not new on your part...and when the opportuntiy came, you did what you wanted, stopped thinking. I agree with Pink, and find you and this girl at fault. Now step up and face it like a grown up!!
I think you should tell your girlfriend about what happened. And leave it up to her to decide what she wants to do with you and her friend. If I were in her shoes, I would probably beat up both of you until I run out of energy, then kick both of you out of the house. I dont know how your girlfriend is, so be prepared for all kinda reaction from her side.
I think what you did is pretty unexcusable, but hiding it from your gf and continue life like 'nothing happened' is even more pathetic. You need to take responsibility for what happened. You might lose your girlfriend, but she is much better off without you. You have broken a trust for lust. I doubt this Resha girl takes you in high regard so I dont see your future with her either.
