nepali students who work illegally (in gas stations etc) have made us all shameless.....Last night, I saw a nepali student working in a gas station. Upon being asked, he said he was making money for his tuitions and six pack corona everyday. I was like dyam......

if you don't have money to pay the tuition, then why did you come to US in the first place? This country is for honest and hard-working people. Nepali students who work illegally should all be deported right away....peace.

i am no rich, however I got full scholarships. If I didn't get it, I would not come to US. Honesty is the best policy. Nepal itself has good institutions for UG degree in various fields. Don't understand why they come to US to lead a struggling life full of cheat and dishonesty.

O Soktim, what the hell you blabbing about? The basis that you r in US is false. You have to present all docs in embassy that your ghusya dad has 10 ho ki 20 lakh in your bank account. of course I have to work. I do work on-campus (20 hours a week!!!) in cafeteria for my living. I live simply, don't waste my hard earned money in beer, liquor, drugs or women. I study and I work, all in honesty. I don't understand why you guys are getting offended? If it is fair, I would say it's fair. I see white as white and black as black. Working illegally to support tuition is not the way. What kind of education are you guys getting working off-campus and spending more time working than in studying ? Do you get enough money by working? Oh, unless you study in some tenth tier school or community college. Isn't it better to study in Nepal? If you are good, you will get a chance to work here in US based upon what you know and are good at. Why choose a wrong way?

Why dont you mind your own business? Someone's working to earn, let that person be. Its always better to work (irrespective of the job) than steal or beg. You, however, are living off a scholarship, which is something you have been given, viz donated. If you still value your intelligence do a simple analysis on whos better for the economy; a person who works or a person who makes a living out of a donation? Definitely not you dude. So, Mr. intelligent-scholarship-winner, let intelligence prevail and none of arrogance.
