wow..can't get enough of Always on my Mind...darn good song SAAJHA!

here's one from my side:

A love like ours is love thats hard to find
How could we let it slip away
Weve come too far to leave it all behind
How could we end it all this way
When tomorrow comes well both regret
Things we said today

If you leave me now by Chicago

You're asking me will my love grow
I don't know, I don't know
You stick around now it may show
I don't know, I don't know

Something by The Beatles

and the last one for the day:

Just like a willow,
we would cry an ocean
If we lost true love
and sweet devotion
Your lips excite me,
let your arms invite me
For who knows when
we'll meet again this way

it's now or never by Elvis Presley ...ENJOY! :D

Great thread Loote!

When it is initiated by someone like you, it's a privilege to be the first self-invited guest.

I would like to dedicate this song to couples, family members, friends or even siblings who are having a little row over some trivial matter.
Listen to the song and try to empathize with your counter part.

:)

LOL TM! gave all the credit to me for SAAJHA's thread, huh! hehe...
good numbers there bud! i love the beatles :-)

captain, buddy ole pal,
great picks bud! love oh suzanna...classic!

here's my favorite from the beatles....

this song was written, composed and originally sung by the great geroge harrison of the beatles. he'd sung it in different styles in different live performances around the globe. many guitarists including himself, eric clapton, steve lukather, jimmy hendrix and so on have played their guitars in this song at various live performances and graced this song.

i am posting the very original one. i just love this song, for it's heart touching melody and a heart wrenching lyrics....simply the best...totally out of this world!

i don't know why, nobody told you
how to unfold your love...
i don't know how someone controlled you
they bought and sold you....

i look at the world and i notice it's turning
while my guitar gently weeps...
with every mistake we must surely be learning
still my guitar gently weeps...

while my guitar gently weeps by the beatles

hahahahahahaha...ImI...i can see the TGI's effect on you...see what a lovely song you picked. John lennon sang that years ago and the crave is still on..wonder when his imagination will come true....ONLY IN UTOPIAS perhaps, hoina?

you know what happened when he first released that song? there is a line in that song which goes like...

nothing to kill or die for...
no RELIGION too

and guess what happened? the catholic hardliners went berserk over it...they alleged him and the beatles trying to be above JESUS!

later on, he had to change the lyrics and which went like...

nothing to kill or die for...
no AGGRESSION too

he was shot, few months after this performance:(

and here's ALWAYS ON MY MIND by my favorite ELVIS which he sung right after he divorced Priscilia--his first wife:

PS good pick again cappy-da-killer!

Music by Elton John
Lyrics by Bernie Taupin

When are you gonna come down
When are you going to land
I should have stayed on the farm
I should have listened to my old man

You know you can't hold me forever
I didn't sign up with you
I'm not a present for your friends to open
This boy's too young to be singing the blues

So goodbye yellow brick road
Where the dogs of society howl
You can't plant me in your penthouse
I'm going back to my plough

Back to the howling old owl in the woods
Hunting the horny back toad
Oh I've finally decided my future lies
Beyond the yellow brick road

What do you think you'll do then
I bet that'll shoot down your plane
It'll take you a couple of vodka and tonics
To set you on your feet again

Maybe you'll get a replacement
There's plenty like me to be found
Mongrels who ain't got a penny
Sniffing for tidbits like you on the ground
