We are with the brothers and sisters of Iran in their fight for the freedom and democracy. Down with the dictators and religious fanatics...

Get off Fox News , and try to see some other new channels too . By others i mean BBC or Al jazeera . And what movement are u supporting  ? They just had an election  , fair and square ,Just beacause someone lost and is a cry baby about it , does not mean you need to have the whole thing all over again .
The guy got a landslide victory .
Nepal ko matlab chaina , Tara Iran ma k huddaicha bhanera dherrai peer raicha ..

At first i thought its the western countries who are using media and rival supporters to bring down Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, but after watching these violent protests for a long time, i don't know maybe there was some unfairness in election results. Just my observation. Any "Think Tank" thoughts people?

Mamba,

That is pretty ignorant comment, I would think. People are dying in Iran and we don't give a stuff about that. Is that what is expected of a global citizen? I don't even have Fox news. They are killing peaceful protestors and that does not mean anything to you. It speaks a volume of your naivity when you call that scam being fair and square...

Khan Bhai:

If you and I wait till our country's situation to improve before we speak on anything else, we will just have cut our tongues off, won't we? I don't think you will want that to happen to us. Just because Nepal is in bad shape, it does not take away our right to have an opinion on world affairs. Does that make sense?

I would also like to support people of iran for their fight for freedom. MAMBA, iranians are not playing cry baby for loosing election. Any party who rigged the polls will say the result is genuine. If the result is genuine and if they truely believe in freedom then why supress the voices. Mobile and internet is out in iran and connection to outside world is disrupted, what does it says. Even media is banned to go inside and report.

Reports are comming from people who take photos, videos from their mobile phone. Have a look at those pictures and videos and you can only imagine how much worse is the actual condition.

I agree our country is in deep problem now, but condition in iran is much worse. Have you seen the video of a iranian girl named Neda killed by snippers hiding in the tall buildings. They shot directly in her heart, using a telescopic gun, I assume.

We are citizen of this world and all of us are brothers and sisters, we should support them as many of foreign countries who supported us in our fight. Without the moral support and pressure from outside, the dectators will go to their full extent, be it in Nepal or in Iran.

Western media needed a face for their news campaign...they got one yesterday. What support for the revolution are we talking about...revolution in favor of Musavi...who himself was Prime Minister when more than 7000 of his opponents were killed in 80s....it is nothing better than the revolution conducted by Maoist in Nepal after leaving the government....even Maoist can bring 1000s of people on the street...does that mean whatever they demand should be met....western media is showing the video of 1000s on the street...what about the majority who are still in their home...just don't forget...if their is an election...the party securing 50%+1 vote wins...and 50%-1 vote can potentially be on the street in support of losing candidates.....

Whatever muslim and democracy is similar to communism and democracy. Go back in past Iran history, when Iran's Shah was ruling. People of Iran was practice more freedom than any other democratic country. Dont laugh ! When ayatullah khomaini started provacation against monarchism to the people by saying that monarchism was against of Islam, people agreed and took action. When they(Islamic extermist) came into power, they didn't do any good thing. Just they started doing those stuff which could divert people expectation e.g. war with Iraq.

Guys same thing is happening in our country. On the psuedo-concern of people they are started people's movement.

We should see both of country in same way.

Newly new .
Well it does not make sense to me .I dont know if you are unable to grasp the simple fact that the elections were held and M A won . When you have election , there are different faction with different agenda . Now When M H M looses , he just wont give it up . He's got the backing of western countries . He has his supporters breaking the law by protests and trying to get his message across by  violent demonstration . The government has to restore peace and to do that they are using force . The law and order has to be maintained . Its every citizens right to live in peace and harmony . Just because you see a few people demonstrating , that does not mean the whole country wants that .
Peaceful demonstration is the way to go , but what is happening right now is just not acceptable .
Enlighten me please .

Mamba: So what is acceptable?

1. Having the Supreme Leader (not sure what makes him that supreme) pick the candidates who can run in the election.

2. Having the gangs of militia run around the street and randomly attack the protestors and bi-standers.

3. Having snipers in the rooftops and have the unarmed women get shot at.

4. Having the gangs go on home invasion rampages and do what they please.

I don't think it's just about the election that Iranians are protesting. It's about the way of governance after the Islamic revolution. But it surely looks like, you, my friend Mamba, need a lot of enlightenment...

let them deal with their own problems if it actually is a problem rather than following media from outside the country. If you have time, contribute towards betterment of Nepal rather than being concerned about a country which is far superior than Nepal.

newlynew you have absolutely no idea about iran election or just following the western media. Why is this revolution ?  Only come to conclusion when you talk with many iranains.  I live with few of my  iranian friends and here is what they say.

1. Iran has over 1  million army. . If they really want they can crush the revolution in the blink of an eye. But Iran probably is one of the most democratic country in arab. And they don't want to crush the people. The current ruling body have shown a lot of patience.

2. Most of the people they are protesting are from city areas. They are richest people in iran. Majority of the people in villages and all over are the supporter of Ahamadinijad.  Even BBC and CNN predicted that he will get a landslide victory in the election.  So why is this protest?

3. Those people who are protesting are the supporter of the opposition party.  Which is small compared to ruling party.  When people loses they oppose. Tara opposition garne ni karan huncha. In this case there was very little reason  as the current ruling party would have easily won the election itself.

I don't like Ahmadinijad. But then people have voted for them.  We can't just judge things in iran by looking at the video of CNN, Fox news, BBc. We don't want any blood shed or killing. I hope all these voilence stops.  But I have seen the protest in Nepal as well when they tried to oust the king.   They call it Shantipurna andolan. But it is anything but shantipurna. But media always tried to portray that the protester were peaceful.

Bottom line is MA not only won but got a landslide 63 percent votes. People in Tehran should move on.

Agreeing with no quero, want to add few more points.

1. Western country and media has their vested interest on this as they do not like the person like Ahmadinijad who out rightly denied the holocaust and always against the Israeli regime. He is exxtremist no doubt about that and personal level I do not agree nor like him. But on the other side, western media does not cover the part Palestine where people are made refugee to their own land.

2. These are the same media which reported about nepal's uprising, and they failed to analyze this protest beyond the camera frame. Only the we know, due to coercion and death threat of Maoists, most people came down to street.  (Congress and UML were doing the protests since ages.) But any such protests which destroys public properties and paralyze public life has to bear the consequences but ironically, at that time we saw voice raised against the ruling regime  only on be half of so called human right activits and western media favoring the protestors. MIND YOU PROTESTORS ARE NOT ONLY THE GENERAL PUBLIC. What about those who did not participate?

So just because of media is giving hype on that basis you can not decide the inherent socio political matter of that country. Be that is Iran or Afganistan. In this context I like Obama policy to not indulging into any soverign countrys internal matter directly. Republican " Bomb bomb" are just acting like whining baby.

3. Iran is a Islamic republic and religious leader has last say under that circumstances  life will not  change just by replacing Ahamadnijad by Musavi.

4. While there is public protests as people have right to have peaceful protests ( how many of you have seen a peaceful protests without any riots??) it is the responsibilty of the government to protect public properties and public life while doing that they are bound to use the arm force or bullets as required. That is why there is government not like nepal where Maoists has jungle raaj. Imagine, if you do public prtoests without the permission of US authority here you will be sentenced to how many years? Here you can not disruput pulic life then why in a hell you people are crying about Iran or any country?

Stay calm and do not judge the things from miles away by just watching some clips in bits and peices.
