 Interestingly, I used to have same problems at the library when I was a college student.  But the offending parties were mostly sorority girls.

First, it's a pity that she herself being a student of politics doesn't have a clue beyond her own boundary.
Second, she is annoyed by the presence of FOREIGNERS (that includes you and me) around her vicinity - very xenophobic comment.
Third, I think she meant mostly chinese when referring to Asian, but she bring Japan and Tsunami unnecessarily or ignorantly. Japanese people are the most polite people on earth. What I hate the most in this video is her apathy to the recent event of Tsunami, and she doesn't realize what kind of impression she is giving about "american culture" by talking out loud with this kind of racist rant. When most of americans and the whole world is praising Japanese for their patience and calmness (with no chaos and not a single event of looting), she choose to attack Japanese culture. It's sad to see sajha crowd enjoying her video.

Shame on you on making it too serious and political.

Fine, everytime they post such piece in youtube, we will make it a national issue and lockup everybody who tries to make fun of such things.

My point is not to encourage racism but you just can't give them so much credance. I do see racial connotation there but the gist is talking at library. She is making fun of Asians, what's wrong with making fun of her? Let's not be uptight about everything.

Yes, the gist is not talking on phone in the library and no1 is arguing against it. But you don't have to be a xenophobic and racist to make your case and speaking against it doesn't imply to punish her. Who is saying about punishing her? I am glad to know that you're not laughing with her. I am not asking you to lose sleep on that neither I am. What made me sad was people thinking it is ok to make such public posts. What I posted above happened in the same state within this month and in response to the above user taking it as a mere humor. I didn't click your link, so I don't know what kind of extremism you're trying to drag here. My posting the link was related with xenophobia (murdering people just for wearing the particular dress) and she is publicly showing that she hated her asian neighbors and she hated admitting Asians and blah blah blah, which is much beyond for telling to not talk loud inside the library.
