No idea what's going on, nor do I particularly care about the gossip.
I know Sid only professionally, and not personally.
I wish him and his frends a speedy recovery.
I might add -- and with justified anger -- that as a tax-paying Nepali, I am sick and tired and nauseated to constantly read/hear about Paras's acts of violence against his wife and his friends, and the way with which he goes around terrorising people as though he has absolutely no respect for other Nepalis.
It's a shame, if not a downright scandal that he and his entourage -- with all their documented violent history -- reportedly still get into these utterly stupid bar-room brawls at discos, and then expect palace security to bail them out and the Nepali press to muffle the story -- again and again.
What's the Palace going to do now? Send Paras to clean up the Bagmati and have his photo published in Kantipur as some sort of a cheap PR exercise . . . just as he was sent to clean up Few Taal last time soon after he fired guns at Everest Hotel at 3 am?
I mean, what are we, the janata .... stupid?
Why can't Paras simply grow up, and be serious about solving the problems facing the 24 million Nepalis who -- without much of a choice -- contiue to subsidise his lifetsyle?
For God knows, Nepal has tons of problems. Why are we -- in this age and time -- still terrorised (and not at all amused) by the violent antics of Paras?
We demand better from Paras because we deserve better from him . . . so long as
he's on the janata's payroll (a subject which is being openly debated in Nepal these days).
Somebody should stop Paras before, with all his violent acts accumulating to a shocking degree, he mutates into some sort of a Nepali Uday Hussain, if he hasn't already.
