Like the way you mentioned Sabkobhalohos, I am afraid this hasty decision to clean everything with same broom will not be liked too much. It is good though. It should have been gradual, it could have been placed with the idea to change the national anthem (and also the national falg, if someone wanted party flages style, revolutionary), and decided after CA.
But againa ccepting whatever is done in best interest of all, everything has to be looked in advance and that even includes the marketing potentiality of Nepal as a pligrimage destination.

it is all about symbolism rishi. in hindu religion bahsi ranga is considered mahisasur so slaughtering is granted even condoned. where as cow is considered luxmi and mother kinnilg it will be a paap.

so no, bhaisi and gai are not same eventhough logically ithey appear to be same. there is a tatvic farak in killing these two.

Change of political decision will not change the common practises, values and norms. Whoever raised this question about killing cow in Nepal doesn't seem to have good intention. It seems that those who are lost in battle are trying to confuse and mislead people.

At least in India they do have some laws different for muslims and hindus. Example is having many wives for muslim is OK, but not same for hindus according to their laws... in practice, of course you will find polygamy some cases of polygamy among all religious people here or there.

I understand the symbolism within the Hinduism. My post was actually not to address Hinduism since it is a different topic, scientific cum philoshopical. Since from the new proclamation therin Nepal it is no more a Hindu State (kingdom being still to be decided by the assembly, so I feel better to say State of Nepal), and in this very condition if some cow-eating people in Nepal (as we know people from different religions and even Maobadis in the State of Nepal preferrentially eat cow and are even willingly waitaing for such an atmosphere to slaughter cows) advocate for their right there is no provision to bar/ban it. That was what I was saying Tatwik Farak, in the new context in the New Nepal.

If Nepalese can kill another Nepalese, what the Fcuk is cow !!
