The case of Nepal is different than rest of the communist countries. If Maoist start imposing anti people policy, we will have chance of self correction after each five years but that is not provided in CUBA, China, and other communist countries. So, there should not be any prob to anyone when Maoist come to power. I am not advocating anything on behalf of Maoist and still, counting of votes is going on BUT even if they come to power, it should not be the problem.

Why are so much worried ?If whole Nepali wants something changed you should hold your breathe to support it don't be so shaky,it looks some people are really afraid like a coward before death!We need change,whatever!We need autocrat for a time to do something.;Rather I am worried that NEpali congress and CPM UML still do exist there.

I don't think Nepal can ever be a country ruled totalitarian communist party. Seriously, If people can rise againt autocratic king do you think they will just keep quiet if the communist party takes over the government? We have many political  parties and their followers. It's not like cuba or N korea where all parties are banned. For instance, If Maoist were able to take over all aspects of the government an ban all parties do you think everyone will shut up? I can't image India or even China will support a totalitarian government in Nepal. Remember that These two neighbors, esp India have always sided with the people regardless of what your opinion is.

looking at the chain of events that lead to the CA election and the current condition of the country, this election couldn't have been fairer and conducted in a more peaceful environment than this IMO. a portion of me was fearing a lot worse. i don't care whoever wins...if majority of people want maoists to lead the CA, so be it. ke ko tauko dukhai? we have nothing to lose. gone are the days of autocracy, master/slave mentality, feudalism and imposition. i have more faith in 'we' (nepali people) these days than anybody else.

You have a little hot thing for a head, seems like. In my opinion theres no difference between the King (as in what he did) versus the maoists (as in what they did). Yes, you are right that King did not kill people like the rebels have done in the last ten years. King also did not save any lives. In this day and age not saving lives, when one is capable of, can surmount to murder. King is guilty of betrayal like the maoists are.

I am not against Socialism which says be yourself rich and help other to get rich too...but communist theory is completely crazy...it says to be equal all need to be poor. If you are rich you will be made poor and the poor will always remain poor because he knows once he is rich he will be made poor again.
