लामो समय देखि  मुम्बई चलचित्रहरुको प्रभावले नेपाली भाषा र संस्कृति लाई आफ्नै सिमा भित्र ग्रहण लगाई दिएको छ |हिन्दी संक्रमण ले नेपाली संगीत र चलचित्र क्षेत्र लाइ तहस नहस नै गरिदिएको छ |  पछिल्लो दशकमा  नेपाली चलचित्र हरु को संख्यात्मक बृद्दी भए पनि गुणस्तर हिन प्राय छन् | नेपाली कला क्षेत्र संग सम्बन्धित धेरै कलाकार हरु बिदेसिन बाध्य भएका छन् |झन्डै ३ करोड जनसंख्या भएको गणतान्त्रिक नेपाल को लागि राष्ट्र भाषा मानिएको नेपाली भाषा बोल्ने नेपालीहरु नेपाल बाहेक बिदेशमा पनि ठुलो संख्या मा छन् | तर बिडम्बना नै भन्नु पर्छ नेपाली मौलिक कला र संस्कृति  नेपाल भित्र नै उपेक्षित्  हुन पुगेको छ | हिन्दी गीत र चलचित्र हरु नेपालमा प्लेगको  जीवाणु भएर भित्रिएको छ | समय छदै उपचार नगरे हिन्दी  संक्रमणले  नेपाली राष्ट्र भाषा र  नेपाली  हरुको मौलिक संस्कृति हरुलाई आर्यघाट पुर्याएर नै छाड्ने छ |

पछिलो दसक मा नेपाली भाषा  र  कला क्षेत्र को हरिबिजोक देख्न नेपाल गए हुन्छ | जुन सुकै रेडियो  खोले पनि हिन्दि गीतहरु बजी रहेको हुन्छ,टेलिभिजनहरुमा त झन हिन्दी सिरियल हरुको को बाढी नै आउदो रहेछ |नेपालको प्रमुख पत्रपत्रिका मा पनि हिन्दी सिनेमाको कलाकार हरु को अजङ्ग को तस्बीर छापिदो  रहेछन | नेपाली कलाकार हरुको सानो पासपोर्ट आकारको फोटो पत्रिकाको एउटा कुनामा राखेर कहिले काही छाप्दा रहेछन | जस्तै केहि महिना अगाडी ऐस्वार्य राय गर्भवती भएको समाचार  नेपाल को पत्रपत्रिका हरुले  प्रमुखताका साथ छापे | नेपाली कलाकर्मी र संगीतकर्मी हरु ले आज सम्म पनि आफ्नो पेशागत क्षेत्रमा भएको हिन्दी अतिक्रणको बिरोध मा कुनै आवाज उठाएको थाहा भएन | नेपाली कलाकार हरुको यो मौनता कि त उनीहरुमा चेतनाको कमि रहेर हो  वा उनीहरु आफै हिन्दी फिल्मका कलाकार हरुको नक्कल गर्दैमा फुर्सद नभएर हो अहिले भन्न सकिएन | नेपालमा भई रहेको  हिन्दी फिल्म र संगीत को एकाधिकार  नियन्त्रण गर्नसकेमा नेपाली कलाकारहरुले कला क्षेत्र मा आफुलाई पूर्ण रुपले समर्पित गर्न सक्ने थिए अनि स्तरीय नेपाली चलचित्र,गीत संगीतहरुको सिर्जना गर्न सक्थे | नेपाली कला क्षेत्र को विकास भए नेपाली कलाकार हरुले  आर्थिक रुपमा  मा सबल बन्न को लागी अन्य  ब्यबसाय हरुको भर पर्नु पर्ने  थिएन| केहि अपवाद लाइ छाड्ने हो भने अझै पनि नेपालका कलाकार हरु कला क्षेत्रका अलावा कुनै न कुनै अरु ब्यबसाय संग सम्बन्धित छन् |

 

नेपालका प्रत्येक चोक देखि बिदेशमा बस्ने नेपालीहरुले गर्ने सांस्कृतिक कार्यक्रमहरुमा  हिन्दी गीत नबजाए नेपालीहरुको जात जान्छ | नेपालमा गएकोबेला यस्तै भीड हरु देखि भाग्न अन्नपुर्ण को ट्रेकिंग गएको थिए | तर हिमालको काखमा रहेको  ससाना होटेल हरुमा पनि हिन्दी गीतहरु नसुनी नसक्दा रहेछन | हुनपनि कोक्रो देखिनै  हिन्दी गीत घोकाएर हुर्काईएको नेपालीहरु को बानि छुटाउन त्यति सजिलो छैन | नेपालीहरु आफै हिन्दी गीत नसुनी र हिन्दी फिल्म नहेरी सक्दैनन अनि इन्डियन हरुलाई “धोति ”भनेर गाली गर्न पनि छाड्दैनन | यसमा इन्डियालाई मात्र किन दोष दिने होइन र ? नेपाली हरुको हिन्दीकरण गर्ने सबै भन्दा प्रमुख जिम्मेवार निकाय भनेको नेपालको  प्रधान मन्त्रीको कार्यलय र संचार मन्त्रालय नै हो |  हिन्दी  फिल्म ,च्यानल र  संगीत हरु निर्वाद रुपमा भित्र्याउने राष्ट्रघाती नीति,नियम हरुको जतिसुकै निन्दा गरेपनि कम हुन्छ | राष्ट्र भाषा नेपाली को अस्तित्व लाइ नै चुनौती दीने यस्ता कार्य हरुको अझ सम्म बिरोध भएको कहिँ सुनिएको छैन |नेपाली कलाकार हरुले बनाएका बिरलै फिल्म हरुले जेनतेन आफ्नो लगानी उठाउछ | नेपाली संगीत कर्मी हरुले  निकालेका सिडी हरु बजार मा पुग्दा नपुग्दै इन्टरनेट बाट डाउन्लोड भै सक्छ | तर हिन्दी फिल्मी उधोगहरुले फिल्म,टि.भी र  संगीतका मध्यम बाट बार्षिक रुपमा  गरिब नेपालीहरुको  अरबौ रुपैया लुटिरहेका छन् |  त्यसमा अझ दुख को कुरो त हिन्दी फिल्महरु ले ल्याएको सामाजिक बिकृति हरु ले नेपाली समाजलाइ प्रत्क्ष्य -अप्रत्क्ष्य रुपले प्रभावित गरेको छ | नेपालमा बढेको हत्या ,हिंसा,अपहरण ,बलत्कार र  ठगि का घटना हरुको को चरम उदण्डताका दोषारोपण  माओबादीलाइ मात्र दिएर हुदैन | यसका अलावा हिन्दी फिल्महरुले झुट,आडम्बर,कपट कसरी गर्नु पर्छ भन्ने चाणक्य नीतिको पाठ पनि  नेपाली हरुलाई राम्ररी पढाई रहेको छ | मध्य नब्बे को दसक सम्म आफुले  पनि हिन्दी फिल्म हेर्ने गरिन्थ्यो तर जुन फिल्म हेरे पनि झुटो बोल्ने,अरुलाई ठग्ने र केटि भगाउने देखि अरु कुरा कहिले देखाएको पाईएन | उसैबेला देखि हिन्दी फिल्म प्रतिको मेरो मोह भङ्ग भयो | कहिले  काही त इन्डियाले दाबि गरिरहेको  चर्को आर्थिक वृद्धिदर पनि कतै प्रचारबाजी मात्र हो की जस्तो लाग्छ  | इन्डिया को उच्च आर्थिक वृद्धिदर अमेरिका को इनरोन ( Enron ) को जस्तो नहोस भने कामना छिमेकि भएको नाताले हामी सबै नेपाली हरुले गर्नु पर्छ |

तथाकथित प्रजातन्त्र को सुरुवात सगै भीत्रिएको बिदेशीको संस्कृतिको  ”सभ्य”अनुसरण ले नेपाली जीवन शैली लाइ  खिचडी बनाई दिएको छ | इन्डियन जीवनशैली नेपाली समाजमा भीत्रिए पछी नेपाली हरुको जीवन शैली ऊंट (camel) जस्तै भएको छ (ऊंट को कथा थाहा नभए पछी लेखौला ) | उसै पनि मुम्बैया संस्कृति ले  नेपाली भाषा र जीवन शैली लाई नराम्ररी गाजेको छ | यति सम्म कि नया पुस्ता का युवा हरु  नेपालीपन  र  इन्डियनपन मा फरक  छुट्टयाउन  असमर्थ देखिन्छन | हाम्रा नया पुस्ताका युवाहरु पहिचान संकट (identity crisis ) भोगिरहेका छन् र आउने दिन हरुमा यो अझ बढ्ने देखिन्छ | उच्च शिक्षा का लागि बिदेशिएका नेपाली हरुहुन् वा  रोजगारको शिलशिला मा बिदेसिएको नेपलिहरुहुन उनीहरु हिन्दि गीत र फिल्म लाइ अलग राख्न सकेको देखिदैन |नेपाली हरु जहासुकै गएपनि इन्डियन हरुको फिल्म हेरेर होस् वा  फेयर एंड लब्ली  घसेर होस् ,भारतीय हरुको व्यापार ब्यवाशय बढाउन भूमिका खेलिरहेको हुन्छ |  पहिरनकै कुरा गरेपनि नेपाली गुन्युचोली र  दौरासुरुवाल नेपाली पहिरन हुनुपर्छ भनेर कुर्लिन्छंन तर उनीहरुनै इन्डियन कुर्ता सुरुवाल लगाऊछन् | नेपाली पुरुष हरुपनि मुम्बई का अभिनेता को पहिरन को अनुसरण गर्छन र केहिले  संवाद पनि फिल्मी शैली मै बोल्छन | नजानेर भएपनि “खाता है ,जाता  है “  भनि हाल्छन |इन्डियन हरु को भाषा र पहिरन नेपाली हरु आफै अनुशरण गरेपछि  धेरै नेपालीहरुलाई आफुलाई इन्डियन र नेपाली बिचको भिन्नता छुट्याउन गार्हो भएको देखिन्छ | यसरि नेपालीपन र नेपालीमन को उपहास भइरहेको छ  अनि  नेपालीहरुको मौलिक संस्कृति र पहिचान माथि प्रश्न चिन्ह खडा भएको छ |

नेपालीहरुको जीवनशैली लाइ खिचडी  बनाउने अर्को पक्ष पाश्चात्य संस्कृति पनि हो | नेपालीहरुको दरिद्र मानसिकताले कुइरे भने पछि उसको खुट्टा मा टाउको बजारी हाल्छ| कति मित्र हरुले त मेरो कुइरे केटि /केटा  साथि छ भनेर धाक लगाएको यहि पापी कान ले सुन्नु परेको छ | इन्डियन हरुले  जति चोटी थाङनामा सुताए पनि हिन्दी  फिल्महरु  नहेरी  र हिन्दी गीतहरु नसुनी खाएको नपच्ने नेपाली हरुलाई कुइरे को जीवन शैलीले  आकर्षण नगर्ने कुरै भएन | नेपाली बुज्रुक हरुलाई लागेको होला कि सायद  रात्री जीवन ,पार्टी ,डिस्को जस्ता बिदेशी संस्कृतीहरु  नेपाली समाजमा भित्राए पछि गहुगोरो र कालो बर्णको नेपाली हरुपनि कुहिरे भई हाल छन् भनेर | त्यसको नतिजा हेर्न चाही समयलाई कुर्नु बाहेक अर्को विकल्प छैन | एक राते माया लाउने,  नाङ्गो नाच नाच्ने,बार र डिस्को  धाउने  कुनै पनी नेपालीहरुको मौलिक संस्कृति होइन तर आधुनिकता का नाम दिएर  बैधानिक डाका हरुले  नेपालमा  यस्ता बिकृति हरुलाई बैध गराएर दिर्घकालिन रुपमा नेपाली संस्कृति र जीवनशैली को मौलिकता र बिशिसठता माथि कुठाराघात गरेका छन् | हिन्दी रंगिला को "यायी रे..."  देखि  "मुन्नी बद्नाम हुइ…."  सम्म आई पुग्दा आधुनिक भट्टी उर्फ बार र डिस्को हरुमा केहि नेपालीहरुको  जीवन रंगिए पनि धेरै लाइ बद्नाम गराएको हुनुपर्छ | कथित “सभ्य”संस्कृति ले हजारौ निम्न वर्ग का महिला हरुलाई नगरबधु बनाइएको छ र हजारौ युवा हरुलाई अबैध लागुपदर्धको कारोबार  अन्य  जघन्य अपराध गर्न  प्रेरित गराएको छ  किनकी  रक,पप,रयाप र हिप्पप संगीत मा  ताल मिलाएर आधुनिक हुने चाहना उनीहरुमा पनि हुन्छ |

अन्तमा,नेपाली कलासंस्कृति र नेपाली जीवनशैली माथिको अतिक्रणको  जिम्मेवार  हामी स्वयम नेपालीहरु  हौ | नेपालीकला र  संस्कृति अहिलेको दुरावस्था मा पुर्याउने नेपाल सरकारको नीति नियम हरु परिबर्तन नगरे सम्म नेपाली कला क्षेत्र र कलाकार हरुको भबिस्य उजव्ल देखिदैन | नेपाल भित्रका बिबिध मौलिक संस्कृतिहरु,नेपाली राष्ट्र भाषा र  नेपाल भित्र बोलिने अन्य राष्ट्रिय भाषाहरु  को सम्रक्षण गर्न सके भावी पुस्ता हरुले  आफ्नै मौलिकतामा गौरव गर्न सक्ने छन | उनीहरुको पहिचान मा कसैले औला ठहर्याउने मौका पाउने थिएन | मेरो आशय यो होइन कि हिन्दी फिल्म लाई बन्देज नै गर्नु पर्छ | शिक्षाप्रद र सकारात्मक संदेश सम्प्रेषण गर्ने जुनसुकै देशको फिल्म लाई पनि रोक लगाउनु  हुदैन तर समाज मा बिकृति फैलाउने फिल्म,संगीत र जीवन शैलीलाई अब नरोक्ने हो भने नेपाली हरुको अस्तित्व निकट भबिस्यमा संकट मा पर्ने दखिन्छ |

Ya bollywood mainstream films SUCK BALL SACKS!!! I watch world cinema, so I am what Jason would call "Evolved"...I love Italian, German, Chinese, Etc etc... THIS IS WHY I FEEL BOLLYWOOD SUCKS!!! While most films from different countries have a UNIQUENESS of their own in terms of culture, stories, etc, bollywood movies are always so obsessed with being as western as possible in every way....From foreign locations, to white background dancers, to random english words and hip hop...What's so Indian about these so called bollywood movies anymore??? Chinese films tell CHINESE STORIES... Italian films tell ITALIAN STORIES... Bollywood films mix every other culture and create absolutely nothing original in the process...Whether it's copying the story or the filmmaking style... There is only one positive unique quality about bollywood and that is the song/dance element since singing and dancing IS embedded in Indian culture (All festivals, weddings, etc)... When done well it works but bollywood lacks originality and the ability to look within... Instead they ALWAYS look for outside influence...World cinema rocks but bollywood has a LONNNG WAY TO GO... I think filmmakers like anurag kashyap, dibakar Banerjee and perhaps Ashutosh Gawarikar are the ONLY filmmakers that attemp new things in India...
