Oh damn! Soon to be. But how soon, I have no freaking clue ;) From what I gather, this is one field which highly touted. Less than 5% make it in the first go. At least was the case in 'pencil exam' time. One good thing about the changed version is, we can give the exams in 4 parts within 18 months, unlike 8 hrs exam for all four parts as was previously required. Much like how foreign graduted docs take USMLE. But having CPA does not just do it for you. One has to have X no. of years in experience in the public accounting field. One of the most rewarding weapons which is lethal if you have some decent degree to boot it up. I could pass CPA exam twice by now if I was not sajhaholic. Re kya ;). Let's get the ball rollin'. I wish we could get CPA license in lottery. Haahahah. Highfly bro working towards CPA as well? I know there are few CPAs in sajha. A lady in MA was one. There was one from CA. I hope they can participate here again. Punam gurung ji kina chup. Khas prasna ke ho ta? IndisGuise:)

Whateva, Are you plain dumb or simply ignorant? Either ways you are sweet. :p AICPA moved from pencil test to computerized version right after first quarter of 2004. YES, I am that old. Sweetheart (in a painful voice) when you add one & one, as amazing as it may sound, does not make it eleven. ;) So dear, not an entire world world moved as meteorically as you had imagined. But that makes the world stupid, NOT YOU.:p #Hugs# IndisGuise:)

Can you spell E-N-R-O-N. Gosh, if thats what being smart is all about... no thanks I am well and good just the way I am! :P Learn to take jokes Sweetheart! (In the sweetest voice possible!)

I guess Hifly is absolutely right!!. Failing the energy giant, ENRON, Arthur Anderson has major role, but in the case of Worldcom and Pharmalat, company management is more responsible. Unlike Nepali Doctors, there are about a dozen nepali CPAs in the States. Oho!! Indisguise sanga ta aba tution padhna aaunu paryo jasto chha....

Highfly, What serious discussion? Was I even talking to you when I brought up Enron? It was meant for Indisguise and him only. If it was for everyone, I would have addressed it so. Just because your dumbass cant read doesn't mean I have to take shit from you... ASK me if I care who was responsible for Enron Disaster! I DONT GIVE A SHIT! Peace out you too! :)

wateva, Airight smartass, you do not need to be furious at me. Its a public forum and I do not care about your postings. But it was just a suggestion so that some imprtant info sharing could be done. Also, I have my personal interest on it. I thaught this could be good platform the people who are planning to take the exam, like myself. peace out

Bhai Bahine ho Yudda biram bhai sakyo thaha chaaina? Me here Prajesh, a CPA (in practice) and a chartered accountant (if that matters! what's that by the way?). Totally miserable, 4 of my staff accountants quit during the year, (not because of me, they were just exploring if public accounting was their forte or not?). So now, looking for at least 4 staf/senior accountants, tonne of audit and tax hours , good pay and will (try my best) sign H-1 (?). We are located in the beautiful Santa Barbara, California (believe me, last year I had to spend a fortune to show what snow looks like to my kids). Visit us @ - http//www.mfco.com . My profile - http://mfco.com/profiles.html , please scroll all the way down (I just can't put 400 hrs of overtime this tax season, please help me!!!). Thanks, Prajesh Acharya
