hey guys i have a question.......i am planning to visit Nepal this coming December but the problem is my visa expires on july 30 of 2008......i am just wondering if that will be a problem at the port of entry the time I come back.Just do let me know if anybody has gone through similar situation.it will be of a great help guys............ god bless u all

there won't be any problem if you plan to come back to US before your visa expiry date. thats what i have been told. otherwise you can apply for visa again in nepal before you come to US. Good luck and have a wonderful journey back home.

your visa (and passport too, incidentally if it applies to you) should be valid six months into the future to get re-entry without any problem. You should be fine so long as you re-enter the US before the end of Jan., 2008 (if your visa expires in July of that year--08). Or think this way, if your visa expires on July 10, 2008 you should be re-entering the US before or by Jan 9, 2008. Does that help?
