Hi!
When i checked my case online it showed :case received and pending; i am worried about status based on following information.
Graduate date: Mid of May07
Opt applied and notice date on confirmation receipt: 29 march07
Opt start date on application: june 1st 07

In this situation, if the case status is still same within mid of july( which will cover 60 days from date of graduation), what will happen to my status? Does it effect status or since i have I-20 for 1 year opt, will it be fine ?
anybody familiar with this situation?

Since they recieved your application for OPT before your last day at school, i think you should be fine. Also, consult your international student advisor. It is weird that they are taking so long in your application.

Good luck.
