It's all about the Wild Wild West in the NBA. Who the heck would have though that Kobe and his Lakers would be the top team in the West with about 20 games left in the regular season? Well, even hardcore Lakers fans must be surprised by how glowy things are looking right now for them. With Gasol pefectly fitting in and Bynum yet to return glory days might very well be back in LakerLand.
Rockets who were stuggling a month back and two places behind on Playoff Spots have eclipsed Dallas to get into the 3rd place of an extremely competitive SW Division. They currently own this season's hottest streak of 15 games and has managed to pull off the last three games pretty easily without their SuperStar Chinese center Yao Ming.
Mavs and Suns, like I expected have not been doing well at all since they made trades for two proven but clearly fading players in Kidd and Shaq. Hornets and Jazz are also winning with Chris Paul and Deron Williams pulling mad numbers in the assists section of Stats. SA Spurs are still the champions and are coasting along well.

Rockets took down the Lakers to occupy the number 1 spot in the Western Conference. But how abt an even interesting matchup today when they actually play the Eastern Conference Giants Boston Celtics who owns the best record in the NBA...Can Rockets make it 23-0?? We will see!!
How abt the Mavericks playing the Lakers aswell!!
Basketball NBA fans cannot miss the fun today!

yeah Sahayog bro...its a great night for basketball fans. I hope Lakers end their two game losing streak tonight against the Mavs. It's gonne be tough but it is certainly gettable. Mavs are a great team no doubt but they still lack consistency when it comes to playing good teams. And of course we have another great match between Red Hot Rockets and the Celtics. Lets see if Garnett and Co can end their streak tonight.
Go Lakers! Beat Mavs!!

it sure is an extravaganza for nba fans... to be watching the air of some elite teams clashing with each other...
i guess thats why they called it FAT TUESDAY.. or SUPER TUESDAY
mavs vs lakers
boston vs rockets...
if rockets can hold ray-less boston to their streak of 23-0 .. i won't be suprise to see if nothing much rockets to a conference finals.. boston holds the league's best record has possibly 4 future hall of fame yes i think the way rondo is playing and if continues his contribution he is the 4th best player of boston.
BTW lets talk bout "Coach Of The Year" shall we??
i sure won't concure DOC RIVERS as COTY.. all he's doing is juss watch the game from bench it's his player who are making things happen.. so NO WAY
Zen Master -- he did help lakers team to be where they are now.. but it's the players who are letting him down so NO NO to zen master.
POP would had a chance if this slump had occured down the stretch of the season..
JERRY SLOAN ... we have to wait till end of the season.. the team so far is averaging identical #s in W & L
RICK .. a legiment candidate ( i ain't saying this coz i ma rocket fan).. he will have to prove himself by winning some crucial games that are still on schedule
BYRON SCOTT - he deserves it.. don't believe look at past couples of year where hornets were.. where they are today..
YB
gooooooooooo rockets go.. i tried booking tickets for today's game 2 weeks ago.. well weren't any available..

Yeah TNT could not have scripted it better...by airing Rockets vs Celtics nationally as opposed to two other big matches with Lakers playing Mavs and Nuggets playing Pistons !!!
Coach of the Year - Bryan Scott

Young and Sahayog bro, yeah, Byron Scott deserves that honor for turining around a team that was a dying franchise. If the Rockets win tonight then Rick stands to be another favorite contender as well.
As for the worst coach: Isiah takes the cake. Its about time he got his azz kicked outta the Garden by the fans literally!! Still can't believe that the Mecca saw its last Finals 9 years ago. We pay the league's highest aggregate salary but our players have the lowest morale! However, being true Knickerbocker fans, we still believe...For next year though! LOLs

Close game that resulted in a Lakers win...Just do not like the Kidd playing in here...not only did he miss a crucial three pointer but the Mavericks look so much so better with him in the bench!!

Rockets le ta Dhobbi harna lagyo!!! With more than 20 pts. Tracy looked really frustrated. He didn't even try to shoot. Celtics defence was so solid that tiny rockets could not penetrate. I turned off TV 2 mins before the game was over. Rockets was really helpless without Yao today. There was lack of confidence in Rockets player.
Still..... Go rockets!!! Believe in urselves.

I would love to see KOBE winning MVP but the way Chris Paul is leading New Orlean, its gonna be close fight at the end of the regular season. However i believe Kobe will edge Chris Paul slightly for the honor. Kobe all the way. Go lakers

Suns is surging on wild wild west now. With Shaq fiting in better now, their confidence is coming back. I predict Suns to be within the top 3 at the end of the regular season.

As the west continues to be more wild, I will not be surprised if the Mavs do not make it to the playoffs this season. With Dirk shaken up and yet to see the magic of Kidd, the road to playoffs has become that more difficult for Mavs, especially when you have the current 8th and the 9th seed just one and two games away.
Rockets, although managed to break some records this season, by any means isn't any closer to the championship. Their days of glory are over, well at least this season.
Amare is just getting ready for the raucous playoff season, producing some mad numbers. Shaq is showing how he can run-and-gun with the Suns. Suns is back again and is hot right now! Barring any injury, Suns or Hornets, in my opinion, have the best shot at championship this season.

Guest obviously has no idea what he is talking about...
It really does nt matter at this point, its all wide wide open... but one thing is for sure, all you red necks in new england can wait till next year before the celtics win a championship...
Also, speaking of MVP... lets just say, if Chris Paul were white (like that weirdo from phoenix) everyone would have given him the mvp long time ago... they asked isiah thomas a few weeks ago "do you think your were as good as chris paul is at the same age? "
that arrogant sob (right fully so) replied " i was NEVER that good at ANY AGE"
as for me, i hope ATL will make the playoffs so i can see some more of J SMOOVE
- the most exciting player since mj.. have to admit, those blocks are vicious...

Dallas is hurting ...first the Jason Kidd - Devin Harris' dubious trade and now to add an injury to Dirk ...playoff chances are looking dimmer than ever....Lesse what Josh Howard does now that he takes up all the load for atleast two weeks...For God's sake..Tyronn Lue is playing far far better than Kidd..atleast he can sink the open looks..
The MVP might go to either Chris Paul or Kobe Bryant..But given my say ..I would give it to Paul ...
I'd also put Houston Rockets in the race for the 6,7,8th seed race amongst Mavs, Warriors and Nuggets. Thanks for their streak otherwise they would not even be in this race...

talking of mvp.. i thought mvp should be a player who had contributed a lot for the team to win.. but anyways.. these nba guru's are heading to different directions..
and once again i may sound like a hypocrite.. but the fact is.. you definitely cannot IGNORE T-mac's run for the second most winning streak.. in the HISTORY
chris paul electrifying basketball games.. bottom line he deserves it
kobe.. undoubtedly.. the best player in the league.. but he because of himself will never win a MVP (my personnal observation).. .r u f..king kidding me.. a player who takes 30+ attempts a game sure will score 25+ a game in any given day.. whats so big deal bout it.. i tried the other day.. i was on free throw line.. i attempted 15 shots n made 11..
steve nash.. he could have been only iffffffffffffffffffff.......
KG.. just because he's in east doesn't help him at all.. i do like ur game but u aint the mvp this year..
LBJ.. the king haha.. i don't even know why i mention your name here.. a quote for you "a TEAM wins a game not A person"
d8 howard.. too young for mvp
dirk.. ahahh big jerk
boozer n williams .. hmmm ain't never gonna happen.. it's been 20+ years.. jerry sloan been coach of utah.. has he ever been coty.. same with boozer n williams..
about the issue who is best.. lebron or kobe?
as a rocket fan.. i would say KOBE is the best/// i would love to see him win MVP.. which is not so likely.. so king fan... ready to welcome ur queen mrs. lebron ....
did i forget TD........ by all means the best basketballer: ) : )

FOR DALLAS MAVERICKS FAN by Sahayog
Worst Case Scenario is that Mavs will lose the next three matches against GSW, LAL & PHX. But that does not mean they will be out of the playoff race. The next five games are very manageable with only two away games against the very manageable Seattle and ROYless Blazers. Keeping into mind Jazz's away woes Mavs should win against them at AAC. And the game against Hornets would be crucial but with a fit Dirk (looks like he will be), a win can be squeezed. Furthermore, at that time the Hornets probably will have made the playoffs and a guaranteed seeding, so they will be playing with less intensity and might rest some starters aswell. So here yu go ..Mavs at Worse will be 5-3 (of course they can win tomorrow or at LA and PHX) Overall 51-31
Now Let's look at the Nuggets
They will also go 5-3 ..Three losses coming against PHX at home today and at GSW and JAZZ. Wins against LAC,SAC,SEA,HOU,MEM. Overall 50-32
Golden State Warriors now...
They will go 6-3...Three losses coming today vs Spurs, at PHX and at NOH. Wins vs DAL, MEM, SAC, DEN, LAC & SEA Overall 51-32
Mavs and Warriors make it to the playoffs and who knows what happens after that.
But for that to happen in a crucial match today, PHX needs to beat DEN at Denver which is kinda looking blurry tonight...but heck it was looking blurrier yesterday ...!!
GO MAVS ..There is plenty of hope and even though I think Mavs will atleast win one of the next three games (if not two), I have considered the worst case scenario..and still Mavs would make the playoffs..Chill people!!
