Mahara appointed govt spokesperson


Minister for Information and Communication Krishna Bahadur Mahara has been appointed spokesperson of the interim government.

A meeting of the Council of Ministers Sunday afternoon appointed Mahara as the government's spokesperson.

Mahara, who comes fourth in the cabinet hierarchy, leads the Maoists in the government. He is also the spokesperson of the Maoist party.
