I don't have any suggestion on where you should buy from...but I can tell you where you should NOT buy from. Don't buy from ticket2nepal.com (Landlocked travel). They are pain in the a**. When and where are you flying from?

Buy from Mr. Govind Shahi in California (Himalyan treasure and travel ) I got ticket from him twice and it was good. Good luck!!

I have been buying almost all the tickets for myself and family from them until few months back. They are being an a** now a days. They over-charge your credit cards. I had to cancel one ticket for one of my friends (bought that ticket using my credit card) because of a medical emergency and they told me they will refund if I can submit a hospital report saying my friend was actually sick. I did send all the necessary documents and called them up. They told me they had talked to Turkish Airlines and I should be receiving my refund within couple of weeks. Couple of weeks pass and I call them, they don't pick up phone, I leave voice message - no call back. I emailed them like 20 times with not a single reply. They used to be nice but not anymore. I will never buy ticket from them again. I deserve to get my $1400 minus cancellation fee which I never received. I am planning to file a case against them.

You can directly go to airline's website & get a quote for your travel. They also give ticket different rates (higher or lower rates) depending on your travel date flexibility like +\- 2/3 days.

You can check flights by directly visiting the airline's website. Many airlines like Cathy Pacific, Qatar, Ethihad, Emirates, Jet Airlines, Singapore Airlines, Korean etc. offer flights from major US cities to Kathmandu, including connections.

Yes, Don't buy tickets from LANDLOCK TRAVEL OR TICKETS2NEPAL. Recently, I bought tickets and charged me about $400 more than what they originally quoted. I talked with them but never get my money back. They always speak soft and sweet but they are bitter from inside. If you want to pay more, if you want to get more headache, that will be good place to go.

In my opinion, the option would be to play around date/price using www.google.com/flights
Then once decided, we can choose whatever option we want to buy the ticket from, say from priceline or directly from the airlines.
