I see lot of post on facebook and buzz all over about ALS .. I agree it is for good cause and such things should be promoted. I also see lot of nepalese friends participating in this global cause. But have we forgot about the recent flood in nepal where lot of people got displaced and lost their life. Dont we have any responsibilities towards them? Why dont we nepalese people come up with some similar type of camping that would help our nepalese society then just pouring bucket of ice water which i think most people just do for fun. I bet most of then dont donate.

Its not about donating or not, its about raising awareness. I bet you didn't hear about ALS before now you know something about it. See that's the goal of Ice Bucket Challenge. & you can always go and donate for flood victims in Nepal. There are several agency and help network that accepts donations.
