Time and again I have travelled and lived in a lots of cities in the US. I could not find Nepalese in any of the places that were friendly, every one seem as if they had some personality problem, every one seemed so scared as if they were hiding big secrets in parties. I see a lot of people looking for people in different cities and no one seem to reply. Is it just Nepales nature or Nepalese r too scared to meet someone new..

I have lived in solitude to such an extent that even if I meet any hungry nepali I doubt I will feed him, Nepalese are selfish, real selfish. Dissapointed to say.

if u just thot u might have met the most selfish person ever..dun be too suprised when u meet another the next day..the next time..that raises the scales..raises the price too hah lame..;oP

anyways if u feel someone is selfish i guess they are just takin care of themselves?and wats wrong in takin care of themselve/urself? even if to u it might seem a bit too much?i mean who will take care of them if they dun take care of themselves?hehe..but yeah of cos it feels good to know when ppl are also sharing and caring..esp when they seem to have it quite good?esp around u?just think that if they are selfish with u..maybe there are some ppl with whom they are a bit more selfless?cos in the end isnt it just showing how selfish we ourselves are when we find another person selfish?cos we that shows we feel the other person is not givin us/others attn ;oP hehe..narcist arent we?always has to be about us in some way or another?;oP hehe

and yeah have met and of cos will meet more selfish ppl in me life..but whos countin?i gave up countin or noting the race..creed..colour etc re kya ;oP hehe..cos in the end..im sure they aint really stillwasting their time thinkin of havin met a selfish person like me too?or are they?:o| hehe..

I know why we nepali are shelfish.

Nepal is a landlocked country. So, seafood is expensive and hard to find in nepal. We nepali hardly or never get to eat fish or shellfish of any kind. So we nepali grow some tiupe of shield (which is also known as shelfishness) around us because of lack of seafood in our diet.

Therefore, geogrphical situation of nepal and lack of seafood or shell fish in our diet is the reason we nepali are shelfish.

We are all human beings, and it's in our nature to be selfish. We idealize democracy, individualism, capatilism. So, let a few, if not most Nepalis be selfish if they wish to. It don't bother me a bit because associated with those feelings are other compounding negative feelings too. I know those people aren't happy, no matter how much they pretend to. So, I am lucky to be free of those associated feelings because I see every Nepalis as my own family, bar caste, creed, or social status.

I came to know that nepalese are so fu(king selfish ..... yesterday..

My sister is now in NYC and I am going there and will share the apartment.. for couple of weeks....
And those fu(king people who are sharing the apartment wid her said that they won't keep meh over there.... just coz I don't know how to cook.... I know how to cook but I don't know how to cook the nepai US food...

well I don't know lot of Nepali people, I don't like going to Nepali parties but due to some of my friends, I went to a Nepali party once, and they really act strange and that they're from completely different planet, they don't welcome you or say hi or introduce themselves to you, i mean, parties are meant for introducing each other and having fun together! but I really don't know if Nepalis are selfish? I think it depends on people.

I don't feel that Nepalese are being selfish at all..What I feel is..
Nepalese seem to be selfish in U.S because...
We don't have much time to socialize..
We get time during the weekends, so want to utilize that time doing our own stuff rather than socializing..
Even if we're socializing, we are thinking of the week ahead and the things that need to be done the following week..
So we're kind of dazed and lost...which makes us seem selfish...Not a very smart observation but that's what I feel..:) Don't worry...Be happy...
