I am planning on promoting my business in the US and want to find out what are the most popular nepali sites that people visit in the US. I have narrowed down to 5 sites cybersansar.com dcnepal.com mysansar.com nepalnews.com sajha.com Which would be the best site to reach the most nepali consumers in the US?

dcnepal.com : Housewives, Cheap entertainment seekersmysansar.com : Mixed (almost everybody) except those born in USA
nepalnews.com: mixed but with the rise of nepali language sites (nagariknews, mysansar & kantipur) their market share might be going south. But foreigners may rely on them
sajha.com: Students (age: 18-25), Professionals (age: 22-40)
If you want to bring google adsense money, use dcnepal & mysansar If you want to sell products & services use Sajha & nagariknews together If you will be in entertainment business use cybersansar but your visitors expect same materials as CS If your target group is kids :) born here (nepali) use Facebook, they don't care about all these craps

It's easy to get an approximate benchmark by using Alexa.com which gives you it's ranking in different countries. If you are looking for promotion in US you need to look for US rank. sajha.com 36,382 nepalnews.com 38,308 mysansar.com 40,255 nagariknews.com 68,947 dcnepal.com 294,434 cybersansar.com 436,864 Some of these sites could increase their ranking by combining other sites under one domain. sajha.com could improve its ranking by converting ramjham.com into a subset of sajha instead of a different domain.

i think you missed the most used website: FACEBOOK
You can target your ad for Nepali people who are in US .
The most important thing would be making your ad banner noticeable and attractive so it would persuade people to click it .
