My OPT is expiring on May and i won't be working either. I was planning to join school however i realized i have to full time and there aren't much school which provide full time credit courses during summer. Do you guys know if i can still stay in state if i enrolled for fall semester? Or do i have to go back home once my OPT gets expired? Please do respond to this thread if you have any information.

If you get your new I-20 for fall semester in May before your OPT expired, then you are in legal status provided you have maintained your status legal till now.
