Just found this song by Narayan Gopal and Gopal Yonjan remade for the Nepali movie Megha and rendered by Uday Sotang.

The original is a beautiful song, and one of Narayan Gopal's most romantic song ever. What do you think of the remake?

By the way, the actor is Manisha Koirala's brother Siddhartha.

It is an insult to the original song. Narayan Gopal would have been extremely upset to hear this one. These people have become so cheap and their audacity to manipulate makes me sick!!  Stop abusing the gems...it sucks top to button..!!

I have heard really bad remakes of classical songs; this is NOT one of them.

It's not in par with Narayan Gopal ofcourse, nobody dare can, but it's got its own character. Not too bad. I actually liked it over Ram Krishna Dhakal's version.

While Narayan Gopal's voice gave this song a delightful melody, Uday Sotang has tried to sing it in cinematic flavor. I am sure Gopal Yonjan who made this song (wrote and composed the music) would not have been unhappy with Uday Sotang's performance.
