The list on dept. of Passport website says my passport was dispatched from Ktm. on May 19.
When can I expect the passport to reach me? Is June 10 a reasonable date to hope for its return? So, far I checked my return envelop tracking no. and nothing there yet.
Normally, I would not mind waiting but I will be moving to a different State on June 20. So, if I can be sure that I won't receive my passport by that date than I need to find a way to update the Embassy at D.C to reroute my return package to the new address.
From previous thread, I get the sense they don't entertain calls; what chances are there to receive email reply from the Jokers at Embassy?
Any suggestion on my predicament?

In my case, it was dispatched from KTM on 23rd April, and I just found that my return envelop has been dispatched yesterday from Maryland.

Wow, that's quite long.
Anyway, to my surprise, my phone was picked by a nice gentleman from the Embassy.
He suggested me to go to USPS office and let them know about the change is address for the return mail. That's how they have been suggesting to this problem. He was nice enough to suggest, if that doesn't work, call them back and they will find a way to send the mail to new address.
I am just surprised what kind of mail are they sending from Nepal that takes 3-4 weeks to reach US?
As I said, I was really surprised by the professionalism and helpfulness of this staff; didn't expect that from Embassy staff, how wrong was I.

wow, so that is like almost 40 days after the date of Dispatch. Unless the mail goes around the world, I can't think of any thing why it takes so long.
