Probably he would have gotten away using his political links and power, that's why Police might have taken this extreme step of killing him at once instead of arresting and presenting him in the court. And it makes sense too. But while thinking logically, I think this is a bad practice that has started in Nepal. This is also a form of lawlessness/anarchy from the part of the govt. Police should not be the "judge". It's not his job. This is not how a rule of law works like. If this practice continues, I fear this might make Police too powerful and a wrong person in the force can lead to very dangerous situation in the country. If this is, indeed, a wrong doing in the part of Police, it should not be supported by the sensible citizen. Everyone including Police should follow proper legal path. Otherwise, this might backfire sometime.

2. Few months back Ramesh mahat, secretary of ram saran mahat, was caught sending " jasta pata" which were for earthquake victims to ktm to sale for profit.

3. Because of that incident Ramesh mahat had to resign and at that time he promised there will be a revenge.

4 . this ghaite guy was working for jagadish narasingh kc, mahat duo found this out and and killing of this don is payback for catching Ramesh mahat .
5. This is what happens when u watch " c" grade Indian movies where rival political leaders try to downsize opponent by killing their don.

The only "bad" thing I feel about this incident of slaying Kumar Shrestha alias "Gainte" is that this guy got a lil daughter who will grow up without a father!....Other than that,there is a little ground to argue why he was crucified or is his death even valid....There are also some puzzling accounts between Gainte and the present Crime Division Head Sharwendra Khanal--they both harbor a vendetta among each other as Gainte's gang have attacked Mr.Khanel,hurling stones and beer bottles to his moving car while he was a DSP in 2062...As Kumar Shrestha just landed in his home land from Malaysia,just after the earthquake,which is like 3 months and have been engaging in earthquake relief and rehabilitation programmes,it is a bit weird to gunned him down without any massive wrong doing lately.....but then he,like many others ruffains and aawaras,was carrying a gun in a land where it is completely unlawful to have it,which,could be counter productive to other laymen and by looking at his personal history..one can only assume that he got trapped as a man-eating-tiger is always a dangerous company to have around...He was big enough to think what's right and what's wrong and there is just no one to blame.RIP.
