Same boat here. I called a lawyer she says "they want you to stay at least six months before they want to come back."
I guess the chances are that if they come early they might not get 6 months stay. They might just get 2 weeks or a month depending on the discretion of the person at POE. So safe bet is to stay six months.

Your lawyer is correct. Six month is a reasonable time. While there is no written law that say you have to wait for 6 months but if you come back within say 1 month then POE officer has valid reason to question your parents intent of immigration which contradicts the non immigrant visitor visa.
How do I know? Because I have seen it happened to one of my friends mom. She had to come back within 1 month due to family emergency here in US. The POE officer asked lot of question but finally she got lucky and let her through. If you do not have valid reason like emergency don't do that. It may jeopardize their future visitor visa. Just my 2 cents.

I don't know if it's a different situation with me but I have visiting visa as well. I travel to US frequently, sometimes even a month apart. But again I am a resident of Canada. So I guess there's no such rules on whether visitor has to wait for 6 months before they can travel to US again.

Very similar to this, I want to add a question: My mom 6 months time frame ends on april1 and she has her ticket for that date. Due to some family reason, can she extend her 6 month visa? if she can what documents is required, what are the processes and where do we contact?
