THESE R FOUR DRACULIAN MEN WHO KILLLED THE INNOCENTS PPPL IN KTM

Police release detailed probe report on triple blasts in capital

Koshraj Koirala

KATHMANDU, Sept 30 - Police have made public detailed investigation report over the serial bomb blasts that rocked Kathmandu on September 2, which left three innocent civilians dead and over two dozens other injured.
Organizing a press conference at Nepal Police Headquarters Sunday, the police also publicized four persons involved in the bomb blasts and informed that nine others including the mastermind of the fateful incidents Mr Jone aka Kaushal Kumar Sahani are still at large.

Police said murder cases would be filed against the arrested.

However, Additional Inspector General of Nepal Police Keshav Prasad Baral, who headed high-level police investigation team formed to probe the incident, said that the motive behind the incident is yet unclear.

“Our investigation is still on to find out the persons having indirect hands over the blasts,” he added.

The arrested are Ram Lakhan Thakur Sharma, 25, of Kachourawa VDC-6, Bara, Upendra Sah, 27, of Raghunath VDC-5, Rautahat, Sanjeev Sah,20, Sakhuwaha VDC-2, Rautahat and Jagat Narayan Thakur Sharma alias Jaya Narayan of Barsamiti VDC-8 of Rautahat district.

Police said Jagat Narayan was directly involved in exploding bomb at Sundhara while Upendra Sah is a police constable serving at Metropolitan Police Sector Office, Sorhakhutte. He said that Sah had met with Mr Jone and his men at New Bus Park and helped them reach Kupondole, where they took shelter four days before the explosions.

AIG Baral said that police constable Sah is being tried at the court as an accomplice over the incident. “He [Sah] is learnt to have acquired information about the incident beforehand and seems to have acted as an accomplices to the culprits,” added AIG Baral.

Police said Mr Jone, who claimed himself as the chief of the little-known Tarai Army, has several criminal records like murder and lootings in his credit in Rautahat and its adjoining districts.

The explosions were planned after Mr Jone came in contact with Jaga Narayan Sharma and Raj Narayan Sharma in Rautahat in the second week of August.

Mr Jone along with Babban Singh and Ram Priya Sahani had developed detailed execution plan in Rautahat itself.

Police informed that Mr Jone, Jagat Sah, Ramakant Thakur and Pasindar Thakur arrived Kathmandu on August 29 and established contact with one Sanjeev Sah to take shelter and reassess their scheduled plan.

Likewise, Raj Narayan Sharma and Dhuran Shah arrived in the capital on next bus as per the plan.

AIG Baral claimed that Mr Jone made contact with police constable Sah and developed detailed plan about the bomb blasts at the rented apartment of Jaga Narayan Sharma and Ram Lakhan Thakur at Gursingal in Lalitpur.

Raj Narayan, Dhuran and Pasindar stayed at the same apartment while Mr Jone, Rama Kant and Jagat Sah went to some unidentified location after they made final plan to explode the bombs at least four places in the capital on September 2.

Police investigation has revealed that Mr Jone group had made plan to explode bombs in at least four places in major thoroughfares of the capital.

Initially, they had decided to plant powerful bombs at Singh Durbar, Supreme Court premises, Gangabu Bus Park and Nepal Bangaladesh Bank area at Bijuli Bazar. “However, the group seems to have changed their plan at the eleventh hour due to tight security arrangement in the said areas,” said AIGNP Baral.

The group had later simultaneously exploded bombs at Sundhara, Balaju and Tripureshwor.

Mr Jone, Upendra and Jagat Sah had made contact with Sanjeev Sah, who helped them providing shelter during their stay in Kathmandu, following the explosions.

Police claimed that Mr Jone, Jagat Sah, Raj Narayan and Pasindar Baitha left Kathamndu on the same evening.

Likewise, Dhuran Thakur, Raj Narayan and Ajaya Shah too followed suit to them after two days.
