What are you guys planning to do if u dont get h1b after Bachelors. I mean of course study masters but where and how? I am in debt after studying bachelors and I dont have money to go Masters right away. Thought to work after graduating but stuck at dhoti consultancy like many others. As you all know that we cant even work on gas station or stuffs coz the new law requires you to be employed with ur current employer. If not then the OPT will be cancelled after 90 days and u r screwed up. Throw some intelligent suggestions.

I dont see any good option rather than getting a job right away.

going back to school is not an option for you..working and staying illegal is also not an option for u i believe.

I have some friends that didnt make the lottery last year. This is what they ended up doing:

1. Join a community college and take some classes to maintain your status.

2. Join Kaplan to get done with GRE/GMAT or what have you.

3. Find n marry a "reliable" chik.

I know a few people who went to Canada as well. They werent too happy about how things turned out. In particular:

a. You cant "move" from your initial state/province for 2 years.

b. You cant get a drivers lisence for 2 years.

Lately some dude was telling me such is no longer the case. I hope he's right. G'luk 2 u.
