I am trying to buy a DSLR camera online in a bidding site. has anybody done this before? what are the pros and cons? I have never done it before so can you throw some advice and suggestions? What to do and not to do? is it really worth it? thanks in advance....

Well i have done couples of tradings through Craiglist . Always met upfront checked whatever i am buying it always worked out fine for me .

which bidding site?? Do not try those pennybid ones, most of them are scams, if it's on ebay, check the credentials of the seller, craigslist..well...it depends...take a look b4 u buy...u can sometimes b unlucky on craigslist....
