Hi guys,
Anyone living in Austin,TX? i am sure there are lots of living there. I live in East coast and getting really tired of it and Austin seems like a nice energetic young place. But i have never been there.
Can anyone please tellme more about the place. like people, cost of living, job opportunity, transportation or even small business opportunities? i have done lots of research online but its always the best to know from the locals. i appreciate your contribution ..Thank you.

I don't live in Austin but I have been there many times.yeh there are Nepalese but compare to Dallas and Houston there are lesser. The place is best place in Texas. There are hills, lakes , parks when I visited first time I felt like I'm in Nepal. Its way better than Dallas or Houston. The land is not that flat so driving uphills, slopes really makes feel like drivin in Nepal. I strongly reccommed u to live in Austin. About costing its not that expensive same like Dallas . Transporation wherever u live in Texas u gotta have car.

Don't know much about Austin even i live close to Austin it's good place so is San Antonio in comparison i like San Antonio much better from every angle :) I lived in Dallas for a year which was worst experience of my life through every angle . Transport : You will need your own car there is bus service but very limited i am pretty sure cost of living is high there too . As mentioned above ye it kind of feels like nepal specially when you travel around park, lakes ,Rivers .

Nepali Networks:
I have been San antonio many times.Yeh u rite San Anotonio is also better place in Texas compare to Dallas and Houston. I like the downtown very much coz its small and u can freely walk unlike Dallas & Houston where most crime happens in downtown. Beside that the riverwalk is amazing .As a tourist or visitor I prefer San antonio but If u wanna settle I think Austin is better coz of natural beauty. Most Nepal prefer to live around hills or lakes thats why I think Austin might be better.I lived in Houston now in Dallas but both of these place sucks.

Austin is the best place to live in TEXAS. Austin has lot to offer from night life, food, education to healthy living, Downtown 6th street, rivers, parks, hiking, biking, music festivals, food, close to San Antonio. The city culture is unique. Its the place for people of all ages. I never get tired of living in Austin.
