Any people who want to help materialize this idea can leave a comment here and join me.

I have an idea where I don't have to take a licence and all Newari food lovers can eat newari food once a month  in $5. And all the profit (Revenue - expenses) I earn will donate to some charity.

Once a month newari food sale in a picnic park walking distance from my home. Who don't have time, they can buy and go back to work. who have time and want to spend time guffing around they can stay.

My target audiences are :
1)Young single professionals who are alone, bored and cannot cook delicious and miss Mummy's hand made food.
2) All hardworking students of northern virginia and DC who can once a month eat pure nepali food. No indian mix.

All other family are welcome too.

I live in Arlington, VA (Pentagon City) and I fully support this idea. Let me know how far is your park from my area ?

dcgirl,

Seeing your menu, my mouth already started to water. It's amazing that you know how to cook all these delicious food. I would so like to come to have them, but I'm zillions of miles away from your place. How about sharing your talent in youtube, so that we can also learn to cook these food ourselves.  Please please please put the videos of recipes like gwara mari, keema chatamari and other authentic newari delicacies.

Oye that chatamari is not newari style. My location is arlington, VA .
Alterego, like wine testing we should do food testing and bring all your friends. But i can do this after September only.
Cooking is one kind of art.
If I get time I will make cooking videos.

I have heard of bunsen burner, but what on earth is busnen burner?

Oh it must be a typo.  Sorry dude.  Kinda like tasting vs. testing.

And that last post takes care of 80% of the Sajha bokas.

DCGirl, I hope this becomes a success. Even if you have a small show-up in your first try, don't give up. Maybe you can open the field and let others bring food and sell it too? A not-for-profit potluck. Just a thought.

If you are going to sell food, you probably might need to get a permit from the town.  Just saying.  While the intention is good, don't get arrested.

Do the children who sell lemonade have to register? But we are not children i know.
Unlike potluck, I will buy all cooking material and we all divide the cost among whoever comes to join us ( a little more $ than the cost).
